But those who couldn't get to an arcade to play it wanted to play as the new characters and the rebalancing too so Capcom gave them Arcade Edition as DLC. But the arcades were dying so Capcom didn't make an arcade version but later did so because of pressure from fans but Capcom added four new characters plus some rebalancing as an added incentive since SSFIV had already been released for many months so a straight port from the home consoles to the arcade wouldn't have gained much exposure or interest. But that wasn't enough for the fans who demanded a sequel to be made. The original SFIV in the arcade only had 19 characters and when it came to the home consoles, six additional characters were added.
